Our Vision

The Franchise Consultants and Brokers Association is an association dedicated to helping Franchise Brokers and Consultants build thriving practices. As the hub of the franchise community, the FBA sets the standard for the exchange of information among consultants, franchisors, funding sources and other essential resources so the clients of our community are served with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide our members an opportunity to interface with consultants, brokers, and service providers to build strong business relationships. We offer our members access to a variety of support services, educational seminars and professional certification programs designed to foster their success.

FBA promotes the success of the franchise community by:

  • Developing high standards of professionalism, ethics, training and broker support through a professional accreditation program
  • Providing educational seminars covering a diverse array of topics that are essential to the success of the broker community
  • Facilitating relationships among brokers for the purpose of sharing best practices
  • Providing a direct connection between franchisors and franchise brokers to support the recruitment of well qualified franchise candidates
  • Creating opportunities to collaborate with funding sources, legal counsel, and other essential services
  • Offering forums among the franchise community to discuss important industry issues
  • Tracking and reporting important industry trends

In the spring of 2008, FBA Founder, Sabrina Carter, recognized a significant need in the franchise broker community. Very little support was available for brokers and consultants. As a prominent and successful consultant, Carter teamed with leading members of the franchise industry to combine their knowledge to build a resource organization for brokers and consultants. Having grown remarkably since its inception, the FBA has become a respected and well-received association with both consultants and franchisors.
