BlueGrace Logistics

BlueGrace Logistics Franchise
Blue-Grace™ Logistics has been on the fast track ever since logistics veteran Bobby Harris decided to simplify and automate what he was convinced was an overly complex industry. The solution: to form his own company based on a technology that would make managing all the details involved in moving goods from Point A to Point B -- from routing to tracking to reporting - seamless, smooth and streamlined.

Always in Demand

"As long as businesses need to get their products from point A to point B, there will always be a demand for the freight services we provide." Bobby Harris, CEO and President of BlueGrace Logistics

What is BlueGrace Logistics?

BlueGrace Logistics helps companies ship their products nationwide. They provide a search engine for shipping and freight services, much like Orbitz does for travel.

How Does it Work?

From the BlueGrace website, the customer simply types in the origin and destination zip codes of the shipment and a list of carrier options (from our nationally leading carrier partners) appears alongside our negotiated rates at the click of a mouse.

To make a profit, BlueGrace franchise owners sell the service to their customers at a level over cost and use the difference as their gross profit.

Because of BlueGrace's relationships with carriers around the world, franchise owners do not invest in transportation equipment or assets such as planes or trucks.

What types of franchise opportunities are currently available?

We are offering franchises for the operation of a Blue-Grace™ Logistics business providing freight and specialized freight transportation and shipping services through our proprietary system to businesses and individuals through Blue-Grace Franchise LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Blue-Grace"). Franchises may, under certain circumstances, be given the option to provide parcel transportation and shipping services, and to offer auditing services for transportation and shipping bills as well.

What locations are currently available?

Blue-Grace™ is currently offering franchises in the United States. Please indicate in your franchise application, which state or states you are interested in.

Do I need to invest in shipping trucks or other vehicles?

No. Because of our relationships with carriers all over the world, there is no need for investment in transportation equipment or assets.

Do I need to have logistics experience?

No you do not. If you have some experience in this industry, it will of course be helpful in decreasing the time in the initial learning curve, but Blue-Grace™ provides comprehensive training, orientation, and on-going support for our franchisees.

What type of training is provided?

Blue-Grace™ provides a five-day extensive initial training program for our new franchise owners at our corporate headquarters. There is no fee for tuition and training materials for the owner and one full-time employee for your first franchised business. The training covers operations, our technology system, sales and industry background. We also loan owners a copy of our Confidential Operating Manual, handbooks and other related materials. If training of additional personnel is requested, we may provide that for an additional cost.

Can I visit Blue-Grace™?

Absolutely. We require every franchise owner to visit our corporate headquarters as part of the training process explained above.

What support will I receive after my initial training?

You will have access to the entire Blue-Grace™ team in addition to ongoing training and participation in an annual conference at the discretion of Blue-Grace™.

What advertising and marketing support will I receive?

Blue-Grace™ currently supports direct sales and building of our brand through advertising in national industry trade journals, attendance at trade shows, public relations and social media marketing. Generally, you will market your franchised business through personal face-to-face meetings. We may establish a Franchise Advisory Council to help assess development of local marketing programs. We do not currently require you to conduct any local advertising, marketing or promotional programs.

Do I have to do this full-time?

Blue-Grace™ requires at least one full-time employee managing the day-to-day operations and sales.

What are the normal business hours required for a franchise owner?

You are required to have at least one full-time employee who will work at a minimum forty (40) hours per week in your business. Otherwise, there are no set business hours required, and your chosen business hours will vary depending mainly on how many employees you choose to hire. It is anticipated that more time is necessary during the start-up phase of your operations, but once you are up and running, it is anticipated you will be able to have normal business hours.

Is Blue-Grace™ the right opportunity for me?

Only you can answer that question. However, the answer to the question is just as important to us as it is to you. Buying a franchise is a complex investment, and the market for freight services, specialized freight services, parcel services and auditing services is well developed and very competitive. Blue-Grace recommends that you thoroughly research the third-party freight logistics industry, your desired market of operations and other business factors that may affect your business.
